Riverfront Cafe
May 30th, 2011
We’re trying something new at Art of the Table, something that not too long ago was far from my mind! We’re trying out what one might call a satellite store or a kiosk type store or the like. It’s hard to know what to call this fun endeavor I’ve ventured out into.
We have set up a very small but cool selection of Art of the Table products inside the Riverfront Cafe downtown Grand Rapids. The Riverfront Cafe is located in the same building as the FedEx/Kinkos near the corner of Monroe & Fulton. The cafe is in the back of the building and is attached to the Skywalk and Plaza Towers Apartments and Plaza Towers Condominiums.
The Riverfront Cafe has a great seating area in which to enjoy your coffee or lunch and now…
…you can grab things like…
- crackers & artisan cheese
- milk & eggs & butter
- pasta & sauce
- sauces like BBQ & dips for dipping
- chips & dips
- olive oil, vinegar & salad dressing
- rice, couscous and curry
- chocolate
- mints & gum
- sodas, juices & sparkling water
It doesn’t end there but we will as we want you to take a look at the place yourself. Sit down and relax or run in for something quickly. If you’re driving, enter the parking lot by FedEx/Kinkos and you’ve got a 1/2 hour free parking. Get your goods and get on with it. Or if you’re staying at many of the downtown hotels or live in Plaza Towers, just take the Skywalk over.
Art of the Table Downtown – We are excited to join the ranks of the downtown area!

Love the idea you are branching out to this new location! Years ago there was a small grocery store in this building and I enjoyed shopping there and was sad when it closed. It was a neat place to shop on my lunch hour when working down town. Wishing you and the cafe much success! See you soon at the new place!
